This program reminds all of us that sometimes what is old is really quite useful, especially with a new twist on it. Doug Enslen was introduced to fly fishing for trout as a young boy by his grandfather. The small trout streams of northern Michigan were where he learned, observed and honed his skills. As an adult he has fished all over the U.S., Canada and the flats of the Bahamas. His passion for large brown and brook trout have occupied his attention the last decade. He resides in Toledo, Ohio and calls Michigan's AuSable River and its branches his home waters.
