| Sockeye Salmon... One of the most abundant species of salmon in Alaska. These fish average 5 to 7 pounds and provide spectacular fights punctuated with aerial antics and reel screaming runs. Alaskan Brown Bears favor the sockeye even more than the sport fisher. These bears feed voraciously on migrating sockeye and move into and along the streams where the sockeye migrate providing an exciting show for anglers. The Brooks, Alagnak and Thumb Rivers...
